>>>>>>>>>>>>AUGUST 19 EVENT IN OTTAWA<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Join Host Nahomie Acelin, WIMM Canada’s Regional Rep for Ottawa/Montreal for an evening of inspiration and connection.
Refreshing: Author, Elaine Grant wrote the book “She’s Still Standing” She is a graduate of Cornerstone Academy of Biblical Studies where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Evangelism. She attends Transforming Life Centre where she is a member of the counselling ministry.
Equipping: Fashion Designer and Model, Manuela Souverain who’s been in the fashion industry and media for 20 years. She modelled for many Fashion weeks and now she just started her High-end Men clothing line. She designed a collection for Bruny Surin. Bruny Surin is a Canadian track and field athlete, winner of a gold medal in the 4×100 metres relay at the 1996 Summer Olympics. In 2008 he was inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame as part of the 1996 Summer Olympics 4×100 relay team
Born in Montreal, Manuela Souverain grew up in the field of fashion. She began to sew at the tender age of 11 and was taught the craft of tailor by the best in this field. Even today, after 25 years of experience, she continues to perfect her training at the highest possible level.
Following her studies in fashion design at Collège Lasalle, she perfected herself in the structure of tailoring and menswear patterns at l’École des métiers des Faubourgs de Montréal in 2002. It was during this period that she discovered her passion for menswear and made it her expertise.
Manu offers pieces to the modern man who wants to stand out. The style is chic and relaxed, following the great trends of international fashion, which gives them a rather classic and almost timeless look. The designer creates, in every collection, comfortable, versatile and easy-to-wear pieces in which the client feels at ease, anywhere and anytime. The line focuses on the quality of the fabrics, the innovation of the designs, the internal structure and the handmade finishing.
True to its values, one of the most important elements is the constant quest for innovation. Even if the collections are inspired by historical or classic references, the key element is always the same: the constant search for new fabrics and textures that is the best quality while offering unique styles.
Entirely thought out and made in Quebec, her creations reflect a deep understanding of fashion trends and consumer preferences around the world.
